So the experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have begun with the first proton beams completing a full circuit of the particle accelerator. It is being touted as the Next Big Thing in the world of particle physics; with the data collected from the experiment being used to test out the math worked out by the theoretical physicists. Amid all the hype and hoopla surrounding it, there were also fears that the experiment would lead to the world being wiped out, but those were nothing more than a few Chicken Littles' running around saying, "The Sky is falling!".
